MISSION STATEMENT
The Hope for Relief and Development Foundation (HRD) was specifically formed to alleviate the suffering of, provide hope to, and build a better future for the Syrian people. Towards that end, HRD seeks to facilitate by all legal means the provision of humanitarian aid to the needy people inside Syria.
ORGANIZATION BY NUMBERS
Hope For Relief and Development is a US-based 501(c)3 tax-exempt non-for-profit charity organization dedicated to helping the devastated Syrian people. As the calamity unfolded before the eyes of the world, a group of concerned Syrians could not stay idle, so they established this organization in Chicago in the summer of 2012. HRD has no political, religious, or ethnic association; it is a purely humanitarian organization.

In Syria with more than 500,000 people killed, hundreds of thousands injured, millions displaced, and entire communities reduced to rubble, HRD’s mission is much more urgent. HRD seeks the assistance of every conscientious human being; everyone should pitch in at their own ability to save human lives.
